Round and fleshy, with a variety of skin colours ranging from red to blue, not forgetting purple or yellow or green, this is the common plum which can be found in all regions of France.
Originally this fruit comes from Asia. It is cultivated in rural areas alongside other fruits and produces a highly refined brandy.
The brandy which is made from it is very subtle in flavour. Furthermore, it is one of the most easily digestible brandies.

It can be savoured either cooled or on the contrary served in a warm coffee cup.
It is also used in several cocktails and long drinks as well as an ingredient in many tasty dishes.
